Established in 2002, the Bolo Museum is internationally recognized as one of the largest and leading Computer Science museum in Europe. Its Collection of machines and several thousands of rare objects, sometime very unique, is managed by the Foundation Mémoires Informatiques.
The Bolo Museum is run by the Association of Friends of the Museum, the aBCM. Among those, a team of specialists restore, fix and maintain the machines of the Collection. It also offers the recovering of data stored on obsolete medias. The Association aBCM ensures the visit of the museum and the organization of exhibitions, such as Numerik Games in Yverdon and the Night of Museums in Lausanne and Pully.
The Bolo Museum is part of the Association des musées suisses and has many partners in Switzerland and abroad.
